Why do Primaries Matter?

  • Turnout in primaries is often very low. Your vote will have a disproportionate effect.
  • We need to field the best candidates for the general election.
  • In some races, e.g. County Commission, the winner of the primary will almost certainly win against the Republicans. For these races, you’re helping decide the winner.
